Online License Renewals
ONLINE LICENSE RENEWING IS HERE!! Please click the following link to begin renewing your license for the 2013 renewal cycle:
Please note: As of July 1, 2012 once a license is expired after the December 31st deadline, the renewal fee along with a penalty renewal fee are required to renew an expired license. The penalty renewal fee period is only in effect until February 28, 2014. Once your license has lapsed on March 1st, you must submit an application for reinstatement along with the application fee. This is pursuant to the NM Engineering and Surveying Practice Act (2012) 61-23-20 F. and 61-23-27.7 F, which is posted on this website.
If you are unable to renew online please contact Ericca Lopez of the board office for a hard copy of the renewal. For online renewals: Please note conference courses are required to be entered individually for hours to be counted.

The Board may go into closed session during the meeting to discuss licensing and disciplinary matters as permitted by the Open Meetings Act.
The deadline for amendments to the Agenda will be ninety-six (96) hours prior to meeting.
The NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam and Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) Exam are transitioning to Computer Based Testing (CBT) beginning January 1, 2014
Registration opens on November 4, 2013 for the CBT Exams. The New Mexico Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors is no longer accepting applications for the FE and FS exams.
