What's New at the New Mexico Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers & Professional Surveyors

November 13-14, 2014 Meetings of the New Mexico Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors

LOCATION: The meetings will be held at the Board Office, Hearing Room 2, 2550 Cerrillos Road in the Toney Anaya Building, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87505.



November 13, 2014, Thursday
Professional Surveyors Committee (PSC) will convene at 10:00 a.m.
Professional Engineers Committee (PEC) will convene at 1:00 p.m.

November 14, 2014, Friday
The Professional Engineers and Surveyors Full Board meeting will convene at 9:00 a.m.

If you are an individual with a disability who is in need of a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter, or any other form of auxiliary aid or service to attend or participate in the hearing or meeting, please contact the Board's Acting Executive Director at (505) 476-4565 one week prior to the meeting or as soon as possible.

Public documents including the agenda and minutes can be provided in various accessible formats.

Please contact Perry Valdez, Acting Executive Director, if a summary or other type of accessible format is needed.

The Board may go into closed session during the meeting to discuss licensing and disciplinary matters as permitted by the Open Meetings Act.

The deadline for amendments to the Agenda will be ninety-six (96) hours prior to meeting.

Online License Renewals

The Board's online license renewal system will be unavailable until the beginning of November 2014. We are currently testing and preparing the system, we appreciate your patience and cooperation in our endeavor to provide you this new service.

Appointments to the Board

Governor Susana Martinez has made the following appointment to the Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors:

David E. Cooper, PS of Albuquerque

The NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam and Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) Exam are transitioning to Computer Based Testing (CBT) beginning January 1, 2014

Registration opens on November 4, 2013 for the CBT Exams. The New Mexico Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors is no longer accepting applications for the FE and FS exams.

Effective June 14, 2013 - The following are required to be in the Board office no later than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the next scheduled Committee meeting: ALL applications, letters of request to re-take the PE Exam, and ALL supporting documentation.

THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS, ALL DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO THE APPLICATION AND/OR RETAKE OF THE PE EXAM MUST be received on the application deadline indicated below, by no later than 5 pm. Emails and faxes are not acceptable.
